Ten Tiny Plays About Wiltshire

by ten terrific playwrights

From over 200 submissions, 10 plays were selected to be recorded by professional actors.

These plays were then to be broadcast on BBC Radio Wiltshire as part of the Swindon Spring Festival 2020.

The selected plays will be recorded when social distancing allows, broadcast on BBC Radio Wiltshire and then be made available on BBC Sounds.

Professional playwrights Jamila Gavin, Sumita Majunder and Barney Norris ran free public writing workshops across Wiltshire and chose the final 10 plays.

Rules of Entry:

- Plays had to be no more than 2 minutes in length

- Plays had to include no more than 2 voices, either adult or child

- Plays had be set in Wiltshire: any location or any time period

- Play had to be original works by the entrants and not adaptations of any other writers work
